Bold, exhilarating performances rank the Los Angeles Piano Quartet among the “premier ensembles of its kind” in the world. Since its 1977 Los Angeles debut, demand for the Quartet’s superlative music-making has carried it to Hamburg’s Musikhalle, Rome’s Santa Cecilia, and Amsterdam’s renowned Concertgebouw. Its stature at the 2005 Tucson Festival garnered support from the National Endowment for the Arts and Chamber Music America. The Quartet remains a popular guest on Minnesota Public Radio’s “St. Paul Sunday.” Its recent recordings mine engaging repertoire and wow the critics on the distinguished Chandos and Pickwick labels.
